some more what-i-want-to-look-like. im really gravitating towards simple pieces lately, a bit more grown-up and sophisticated but still somehow rock'n'roll-ish.. therefore im completely in love with everything in the reiss 1971 lookbook (even the model's hair but that's another post)

nailed

just got home from a 13-hour workday, yeeha! so quick post.

i was playing with the try-it-on application on the opi website yesterday (you can even adjust the hand to your skintone and nail-length, so fun!) and found the two colours i want my nails to be this winter, basically brownish greys, i love that they're kinda scummy and grungy.

what do you think? what colours are you planning for next season?

a long story

been looking for a maxi skirt for aaaages. got it in teeny size to sit high up on my waist and its just perfect.

and as usually happens when i think of a hair update, i got three compliments on my hair today, hm..

so much that this is my next hair-target: dark roots& lengths, light ends, big fringe. just gimme a few months.

back to work on monday after 10 days off.

got a major big stuff coming up with fresh job-responsibilities, the reopening of one of our stores which was closed for refurbishment, 3 weeks of training abroad (budapest, bratislava and barcelona, any tips?), two big weddings of good friends, the boyfriend taking part in two art exhibitions... definitely looking forward to autumn.

i usually complain about summer but here's some stuff that was good about this one:

the boyfriend working - i love it when he's concentrating * yummy barbeques

sometimes i forget how pretty island-living can be

sales bargains (39,99 from 119,99!!) * and catching up on sleep

cyprus beer and meze * grilled octopus with olive oil, lemon and fresh parsley

popcorn and strawberry daquiris  * hanging out at the pool

treated myself to this little rubik's cube pendant a few weeks ago

i love how every angle has different colours. glad its not a real rubik though, i could never do them!
